You spot Laura's pink backpack, which you had been keeping safe in your hideout for her, and you feel an impulsive urge to go burn it. You snatch it and start racing back up the long ladder. But when you're almost back up at the top, you lose your footing and fall. You crack your skull when you hit the ground, and no one ever finds your body. You lie dead for years, but your soul remains restless and full of grief, continuing to compound over the years. One day, you wake back up, but your skin is ghostly white, and you're floating above the ground. The exact memories of your life have faded away, even the memories of Laura and your life together, but your feelings of betrayal and your belief that she would one day come back remain strong. You float out of the hatch and venture out onto the Bluetown campus in the middle of the night, searching for your love. When you don't find her, you sulk and float back through the hatch in the woods into your bunker and fall asleep. For many years, you search Bluetown's campus each night and fall back asleep during the day. You ocasionally see a cat and strangle it if it gets in your way. One day, you finally see someone who looks just like Laura walk out of your old dorm building. Same beautiful eyes and mischievous smile. She must have finally come back for you. You grab her and drag her back to the hatch with you as she screams and trashes around. She accidentally drops her phone in the woods and rips the gold locket necklace off your neck. You, Jackson, and Jennifer walk back towards the dorm. As you walk, you take a look inside Laura's pink backpack, and you find hundreds of papers detailing the financial records of illegal drug trading that the Bluetown Secret Society is involved in. In the following weeks, you will end up handing these papers over to the police, leading to a mass uncovering of secrets surrounding the illegal activity the Bloom family has been involved in for generations. Eric Bloom will get expelled from Bluetown after the authorities discover that his family was involved in a scandal in which they bribed university staff with millions of dollars to get Eric admitted to the school. Jennifer will finally feel safe and throw her pepper spray away. But that night, you don't want to worry about dealing with the papers in the backpack. You just want to get back to the dorm. But along the way, you see Alex throwing her party outside, and she smiles and waves at you. You, Jackson, and Jennifer decide to join in. Alex asks you about how you're holding up after Samantha leaving, and you tell her about how sad you've been lately. She tells you that she's here for you. You laugh and gossip and bond with the people at the party, and you can't remember the last time you felt this happy. At the end of the night, as you hug everyone to say goodbye and make plans to meet up again, you sense that the ghost inside you finally had the opportunity to grieve and feels at peace. The ghost flows out of you and dissipates into the night air. The End
